About Orphan Relief Services (ORES) Tanzania
The mission of Orphan Relief Services (ORES) Tanzania is to create a feasible health prevention and intervention strategy on communicable and non-communicable diseases. These diseases include HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), malaria and TB; with the highest burden upon vulnerable children, orphans, and women. ORES activities incorporate the provision of information, health education and the enhancement of e-government and telemedicine in the rural settings of Tanzania thus ensuring that communities are well informed on prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases and access to proper treatment and care. The long term goals for the organisation are to continue to advocate, implement, scale-up and replicate prevention and intervention strategies on communicable and non-communicable diseases, with an emphasis on access to health information, support, care and treatment.
