Launch
The project was launched in February 2008.
A wide range of activities followed, in particular the mobilisation of MPs who took part in a net distribution campaign and were given information about Ores' adv
ocacy project.
Ores also organised a successfull community awareness day which combined various activities. To view photos of activities, click here
Tanzania Parliamentarians Against Malaria Alliance
In April 2008, Ores led the formation of the Tanzania Parliamentarians Against Malaria Alliance (TAPAMA). The Secretary of the Alliance is Hon. Fuya Kimbita MP. The Alliance already has 162 members.
The launch of TAPAMA was also the catalyst for the start of the MPs campaign against malaria in the country.
