Aims of the Project
The project aimed to establish a charter, which was drawn up through consultations with key actors in the fight against malaria in the seven most affected regions of the country. The aim of the charter (the first of its kind), were twofold. On the one hand it aimed to engage civil society, the authorities and development partners in working together with the Ministry of health in the fight against malaria. On the other, it recalled to public decision makers the commitments made in the Declaration if Abuja. Ultimately, it aimed to establish a national coalition in Burkina Faso in the fight against malaria.
